DESCRIPTION:Our Board Members and Committee Volunteers meeting will be held at 5 pm before the March 19th Thursday Night Members Meeting and Demonstration in the Upper Meeting Room on the third floor of the Amherst Community Church Hall. A light dinner will be provided by NFWS. Attendees are welcome to bring snacks and dishes to pass.  \nIf you are interested and think you would like to volunteer for NFWS\, please join us!

SUMMARY:March Members Meeting and Demonstration by Chris Leeper is Cancelled!
DESCRIPTION:After a short and informative members meeting\, we will welcome Canfield\, Ohio artist and popular workshop leader Chris Leeper\, a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Plein Air Society\, and past president of the Ohio Watercolor Society. \nChristopher Leeper is a realist painter working in all mediums. His award-winning work has been shown in solo and juried exhibitions throughout the country. He participates in a number of juried and invitational plein air events each year. He is a frequent award winner.                                                       \nHe has illustrated four children’s books and has written and illustrated the book Realism in Watermedia\, (North Light). His work has also been featured in The Artist’s Magazine\, Plein Air Magazine\, Watercolor Magic and Ohio Magazine and in the book Splash 14 (North Light).                                       \nA popular instructor\, he teaches numerous workshops each year as well as being a member of the adjunct faculty in the Department of Art at Youngstown State University. He graduated from Youngstown State University in 1988 with a BFA degree in graphic design. Since 2000\, he has painted full-time from his studio in Canfield\, Ohio. We are a group that shares enthusiasm for watercolor and watermedia\, welcomes  friendship old and new\,  and  enjoys good snacks!!!
