This Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s 14th International Exhibition of Transparent Watercolor 2019 was juried by Iain Stewart, our NFWS Fall 2019 Workshop Artist. The Awards Reception was held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2 – 5 pm at the Kenan Center House Gallery. Fifty paintings were selected from 136 entries. Eighteen awards were presented. The award winners are:

Case Award for Landscape – Robert Bemisderfer’s “Alaska 1”, The Hyatts’ All Things Creative Award – David Colon Jr.’s “The Jazz Drummer”, The Nancy Rae Lyons Award for Realistic Watercolor – Brenda Cretney’s “Rest Stop”, The Hilda Ludwig Award for Still Life – Catherine Skerker’s “Apple of My Eye”, The Silvestro Family Award – Catherine O’Neill’s “Dad’s View”, The Burchfield Penney Art Center Award – Carol Case Siracuse’s “Casorate Sempione, Lombardy”, and The Pencil in the River Studio Award – Carol Koziol Clark’s “Window Dressing.”
