The Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society is a not-for-profit organization for persons interested in transparent watercolor.
The primary purpose is to advance the stature of watercolor as a major medium through education and to foster the appreciation of both the artist and the viewing public.
To encourage this, the activities of the Society include:
▪ Monthly meetings presenting demonstrations and lectures by nationally and regionally known artists. Since we have all been living through this “pandemic”, our meetings have been virtual, on Zoom. All members are invited to attend all Zoom Meetings. Zoom links are sent to Members a few days before the event by email.
▪ Semi-annual workshops by major artists.
▪ The publication of a monthly newsletter to share and inform efforts and interests in watercolor.
▪ Sponsoring two annually juried exhibitions at prominent Western New York galleries.
