This Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s Spring 2019 Members’ Watermedia Exhibition was juried by Pat Dews, our NFWS Spring 2019 Workshop Artist. The Awards Reception was held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm at the Carnegie Art Center. Thirteen awards were presented. The award winners are:
First Place Award – Jennifer Koury’s “Matthew”, Second Place Award – Gretchen Kowalewski’s “Emma Jane”, Third Place Award – Mike Eagle’s “The Green Slipper”, The Child Within Award in honor of Norma DiSantis – Kay Woike’s “Firefighter Leo”, Honorable Mention Award – Sandy Ludwig’s “Remembering Super Duper”, Honorable Mention Award – Janis Stanek’s “Transformed Still Life”, Margaret M. Martin Award – Dawn Northwood’s “Unspooled”, Board of Director’s Award – Becky Maynard’s “Groovescape”, and Judge’s Choice Awards were given to Jane Stoddard’s “Birds Eye View”, Todd Chalk’s “Time Waits for No Man (or Woman)”, Janine Motto’s “Window Quacks”, Carol Case Siracuse’s “Ho Chi Minh City”, and Ric Feeney’s “Amish Quilt Raising”.
