14th International Exhibition of Transparent Watercolor 2019, October 20 – November 17, 2019 at the Kenan Center House Gallery

This NFWS Fall 2019  Exhibition of Transparent Watercolor is our 14th International/National Exhibition. Juried by Iain Stewart, the NFWS Fall 2019 Workshop Artist, Stewart selected 50 paintings from 136 entries from 76 artists. The Exhibition opens October 20th and runs until November 17th. The Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at the Kenan Center House Gallery, 433 Locust Street, Lockport, New York 14094.

Spring 2019 Members Watermedia Exhibition, May 1 – May 25, 2019 at the Carnegie Art Center, 240 Goundry St., N. Tonawanda, NY 14120.

This Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s Spring 2019 Members’ Watermedia  Exhibition was juried by Pat Dews, our NFWS Spring 2019 Workshop Artist.  The Awards Reception was held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm at the Carnegie Art Center, 240 Goundry St., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.

Fall 2018 Members Transparent Watercolor Exhibition, October 14 – November 11, 2018, Kenan Center, 533 Locust Street, Lockport, NY Submission Period closes August 18, 2018!

This Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s Fall 2018 Members’ Transparent Watercolor  Exhibition will be juried by Linda Lucas, our NFWS Fall 2018 Workshop Artist. The Submissions Period opens JULY 9, 2018 and closes August 18, 2018. Artists will be notified as to the status of their submitted paintings soon after September 3, 2017. The Awards Reception will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2 to 5 pm at the Kenan Center House Gallery.

Spring 2018 Non-Juried Members Transparent Watercolor Show, was held at the Artists Group Gallery, April 27 to June 1, 2018

NFWS’ second Non-Juried Members Show was held from April 27 to June 1, 2018 at the Artists Group Gallery, One Linwood Avenue, Buffalo, New York. April 27 – June 1, 2018. The Award Ceremony and Reception was held from 2 – 4 pm on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

This Non-Juried Show was judged for awards by Peggi Nero Habets our NFWS Spring 2018 Workshop Artist. The Registration Period closed on March 19, 2018. Thank you to all 90 Members who entered! The Exhibitors’ List can be seen here.

Fall 2017 Members’ Watermedia Exhibition. Congratulations to all the Member Artists whose paintings were selected. A list can be viewed by clicking on this link.

The Exhibition will be at the Kenan Center House Gallery, 433 Locust Street, Lockport, NY, from October 8 – November 12, 2017. The Award Ceremony and Reception will be held at the Kenan Center on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2 – 5 pm.  Artists’ Talks will be held on Saturday, October 28, at 2 pm.
