The Exhibition runs from May 3 – 27, 2023 at the Carnegie Art Center, 240 Goundry Street, North Tonawanda, NY. The Awards Reception is Thursday evening, May 25th from 6 – 8 pm.
Mary selected 60 paintings for the Exhibition from the 104 submitted. Congratulations to all of the artists. Our co-chairs of the Exhibition Committee, Janet Ide and Martha Rogala, emailed all notifications to submitting artists on March 15, 2023. Check your email inbox and spam, junk, and whatever other similar boxes you may have. If you do not see your email, contact Janet at firstname.lastname@example.org or Martha at email@example.com.
The paintings selected will be posted on our website on May 3, 2023, the same day that the Exhibition opens at the Carnegie Art Center.

The Exhibition Juror and Judge of Awards is renowned artist and cherished teacher Mary Whyte, our NFWS Spring Workshop Artist.
“In my studio I have a small plaque that reads, “The most beautiful things in life cannot be touched.” It was a gift from my friend Georgeanna, and a constant reminder of what it is we artists try to express. The Exhibition will be on view from October 2 – November 13, 2022, Kenan Center House Gallery, 433 Locust Street, Lockport, NY. It will also be VIRTUAL, and will be posted on our website!

This NFWS Fall 2019 Exhibition of Transparent Watercolor is our 14th International/National Exhibition. Juried by Iain Stewart, the NFWS Fall 2019 Workshop Artist, Stewart selected 50 paintings from 136 entries from 76 artists. The Exhibition opens October 20th and runs until November 17th. The Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at the Kenan Center House Gallery, 433 Locust Street, Lockport, New York 14094.
